Ideal for a self catering holiday on the Isle of Wight our cottage, although small, has been completely renovated and refurbished. Originally the Water Bailiff's Cottage for the farm, this accommodation has a cosy atmosphere with a very pretty outlook over a private lake. The Cottage is fully furnished for four people and it has a light and airy feel, with windows overlooking the garden and lake at the back. Wild ducks fly into the lake, and those that stay soon know where a good breakfast is to be found and can be seen trekking across the garden looking for an easy meal. The Cottage has central heating.
Accommodation consists of two double
bedrooms, one with two single 3ft beds and the other with a 5ft double
bed. All the beds have duvets. The sitting room has French doors on to a patio, which faces South-east. The garden
is fenced for small children. The room has a two-seater settee
and two armchairs, occasional tables and a colour TV/DVD/Video.
There is a small hall/dining area with a table and four chairs.
The bathroom has a bath, shower, washbasin and toilet. The
kitchen is well equipped with an electric cooker, fridge/freezer,
microwave, electric kettle, toaster, percolater and mixer.
There is also a washer/dryer. Crockery, cutlery and saucepans
are provided. There are good local shops, pubs and restaurants
in Bembridge and St Helens.

towels. Electricity and gas charges are included in the rent.

TESTIMONIALS
Water Bailiff’s Cottage
‘A perfect place to stay - everything we needed - wildlife , peace and quiet. We saw shoveller ducks, teal, redshank Greenshank, egrets, tufted duck, herons and even a red squirrel’ Liz and Dave
‘The situation of the cottage is unique in our experience. We have seen 25 species of birds from the lounge - more than we see at long established bird reserves with hides. We shall come again soon.’ John and Jean
‘This is our fourth visit to the cottage and can’t imagine wanting to stay anywhere
else. This really is home from home’ Dave, Jo and Ellen
